Your guide will reveal the history behind the postcard, from the city's ancient roots to its most spectacular architectural transformations — and sometimes surprising ones.
The tour ends on a high note at the Fort Saint-Jean's Place d'Armes, at the heart of the Mucem, close to the Villa Méditerranée and the fascinating world of the Cosquer Cave, in a district that has become one of the city's cultural symbols.
If you wish, you can extend the experience by visiting one of the neighbouring museums :
- the Mucem, a national museum dedicated to Mediterranean civilisations
- the Musée Regards de Provence, which celebrates the artists and landscapes of the region (at a preferential rate).
- Cosquer Méditerranée, which offers a spectacular immersion in the prehistoric underwater grotto.
